SEATTLE: VMAC

Experience What It's Like to Work in the Business of Sport

The Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) in Renton, WA, the headquarters of the Seattle Seahawks, will play host to the inaugural Global Sports and Entertainment Business Academy Seattle. The Academy is a one-week summer program offered to intellectually curious and talented rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors and rising college freshmen.

 

Accentuated by hands-on, didactic learning experiences, students will receive first-hand instruction from world-class faculty, Seattle Seahawks executives and other renowned professionals from across the sports and entertainment industries, including law, technology, management and marketing. Included will be an academic visit to CenturyLink Field as well as workshops on career and professional development, leadership and negotiation.
